***Neopian Bank***
You MUST open a bank account. If you hold all your nps in your hand they can be stolen by ghosts and such. The way I do it is that everytime I have over 1000 nps I make a stop at the bank and deposit that 1000 nps. You'd be amazed at how fast you can save up NeoPoints. Of course, accepting quests can be a quick way to spend those same nps :) And always remember to upgrade your account when you can - you will receive more interest that way.
***Money Tree***
You can donate unwanted items by clicking on them in your inventory and choosing donate from the scroll down list. Or you can stop by the money tree to donate nps - any amount you wish. Of course, you can always go to the money tree to try and get some nps or other items. You have to be fast tho, things go fast there.
***NeoLodge***
Treat your pets to a little vaccation. There are many choices for you to choose from. The stay can be as down home or as fancy as you are willing to pay for. They also provide a vast selection of activities you can sign your pet up for.
***Food Shop***
If you need to feed your pet this is a good place to start. Although if you look around the marketplace, you may find items for less nps. Like all the official Neopia shops it is restocked about 8 times an hour (i think)
***Book Shop***
Reading books is a great way to increase your pets intelligence. Each book is good for one reading and then it disappears into a cloud of smoke. Again, you may be able to find the book you are looking for cheaper in the marketplace.
***Hospital***
If your pet comes down with an illness, stop by the hospital and it will tell you what you need to find to cure your pet. Stop by the pharmacy to see if they have what you want. If then don't (which is usually the case when I need something) try the marketplace.
Everything here is pretty self explanitory - just some shops where you can buy different items for your pets - food (smoothie shop, bakery, health food, huberts hotdogs, pizzaroo). It is always a good idea to stop by the toy shop - you need to play with your pets once in a while to keep them happy.
